A man has a cardiac arrest for 45 minutes, wakes up and reveals this frightening vision of life after death

At this point, all seems lost. No pulse, no blood pressure. The doctors try everything: chest compressions, electrical defibrillations (four in total)… without success. Time is running out. Then, 45 minutes after the complete stop, Brian opens his eyes against all odds.

For doctors, this is an extremely rare medical case. Without oxygen for so long, the brain would have suffered irreversible damage. And yet, Brian speaks, remembers… and recounts an extraordinary experience.

A light, a flowery path, a familiar voice…

During this mysterious time, Brian says, he had an experience of indescribable beauty. He recalls a bright light and a path lined with vibrant flowers. A peaceful landscape, outside of time. And suddenly, a presence: his mother-in-law, who had died some time before.
“She smiled at me, took my arm, and told me it wasn’t my time yet,” he says.

A message steeped in sweetness… But also a reminder: He still had a role to play here on Earth.
